It's not because of the road itself, but because of what's waiting beyond it. The landscape opens wide, the traffic fades away and, before long, the mountains appear on the horizon. Every trip feels a little different, depending on the season, the weather and the light. This print is part of my Scenic Series, inspired by the places around New Zealand that stay with us
