I love the sides - they are left open to the inner seaming so you get that feel of a true caftan and all the decadence and flow that a caftan would have

It is an extraordinary piece and gives a hint of what was to come in the sixties while still maintaining the formality of the fifties

Their version was one of the best to be found and it is not heavy and scratchy like some from this time period.
