This is a really wearable example from the late 1960s. It is comprised of a black velvet bustier with central ornamental gold metal button stand. The sleeves are a sheer georgette fabric in a balloon style with elasticated cuffs. The elastic is, remarkably, still as good as the day it was made. The best feature of the dress however has to be
