Chances are you discovered a talent or passion that helped you expand your life possibilities, or you at least had a safe place to go. But while all families want these experiences for their kids, these opportunities are scarce in low income communities. For many of the millions of kids who stop learning at 3 PM and have no access to enriching after school programs, their best alternative is to be home alone with
