Bakelite Pelikan Typewriter Ribbon Container w/ Ribbon uniform Original 1930s or war-time VasenolGnther Wagner Pelikan seems to be the big name in typewriter ribbon in Germany. Judging from the graphics, this Bakelite container dates from the 1920's to the 1940's. This one still has the ribbon inside! It is in overall good condition but does have some light wear. It measures about 2 3 8" in diameter. The advertisement is from Signal magazine April 1 1943.
