This listing is for a Mino ware chawan made around 20 years ago by Kato Shozan. It is wheel thrown and the front is decorated with dainty cherry blossoms over a panel of white glaze. Smaller blossoms can be found on the interior of the bowl, and this piece has a slightly undulating rim. This bowl is called sakura hangetsu, which means cherry
