This is especially useful when using heavy accessories such as large eyepieces, diagonals or cameras. The sliding counterweight is Chromium plated for durability and strength. This kit includes a 315mm long counterweight shaft and 1kg counterweight and is suitable for 8" tubes such as the Celestron CPC 8" or Meade LX200 ACF 8".
