The mylar reflects the suns rays, protecting carbon layups from excessive heat and UV exposure. The bags cuffs have velcro installed to hold the bags from falling off the wings. My favorite thing about these bags is that the smaller rudder and elevator bags velcro to the sides of the wing bags; this keeps things nice and organized. Sold in sets.
