The base color of this stone is brown/orange and a lighter color than most fire agates

Jaspelite is a mix of red chalcedony and gunmetal hematite. It's also known as iron bound jasper, tiger jasper, or BIF jasper. It's prized for it's red color and reflective hematite. I have huge amounts of this material so it's rare that I pick up pieces these days but this stone is particularly special for it's unique pattern. I found this stone in the UP of Michigan in 2023. I
