The Troubadour books I painted Imps and Monsters

I painted Imps and Monsters as a montage featuring many of my original characters created between 2005 and 2015

She never stays in one place for long as her curiosity and quest to find purpose compel her to wander

hinting at their true nature as it’s described in much of the surrounding folklore

with Nicola’s favorite story being “Little Red Riding Hood” and Ursel’s “Masha and the Bear

The Troubadour books I painted Imps and Monsters18" x 36" acrylics on canvas. 2020. Troubadour came about as I experimented with ideas for a new character concept and storyline for a comic series. Since I first painted this, both the character and the story have evolved quite a bit and are still a work in progress.
