Trees at Cheesman Park Holiday Cards:Box of 12 Holiday Cards During a visit to Chicago

During a visit to Chicago I headed north to the Lincoln Park area

Just for a change I transformed it to a black and white image which I think tells a little different story in comparison with the original image in color

As the coverage of snow varied I used this to build negative and positive space in the image created

When I headed down to the boardwalk I was treated to fog in the area which provided the low visibility and a serene scene on the calm water

As I walked through the park in the fresh snow it was pretty quiet with the exception of some dogs out in the park playing in the fresh powder. Making my way through the park I found a group of trees which sparked my interest. The falling snow helped hide the background in the park which let me capture just the trees as the focal element in this image with fresh
