The current setup is very good and it is strung with Monel strings. A K&K Pure Mini pickup was installed in the past and is working with no issues. All of the dings and wear is purely cosmetic and structurally this guitar has no issues. A hard shell case is included. These models were made in Japan and were some of the top of the line models in the Alvarez catalog.
