however usually by Memorial Day Weekend it is open again connecting Estes Park with Grand Lake

Just over the shore are some pieces of ice which right after I took this image some kids went to try to retrieve but the smaller piece was just out of their reach

With the end of the day quickly coming I just made it to the glacier itself and captured this image showing the size of the glacier itself

This image is from the final area and using just a little bit out of focus setting was able to capture this look as the lights moved to music

As I approached Union Station I noticed the holiday lights on the train station and thought about incorporating the Oxford Hotel into the scene.
