By being low to the ground the footprints leading towards the building became my central focus to place the viewer in the scene itself and lead them towards the decorated City and County Building

4 miles around the entire lake and there were plenty of people out enjoying the nice fall day in the area

This was the case this evening when I hiked up Green Mountain in Lakewood to get a shot of Denver and the rising full moon in November 2009

My plan was to find a good location with a view of the mountains and then see what the approach pattern was for the evening

Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" By being low to theTaking advantage of a large snowfall in Denver, I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver. Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background. I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well.
