The outside of the Denver Convention Center has a modern metal look in some areas of the many blocks the building covers

Depending on the weather in the next couple of days this scene could be quite different come midweek

Whether it is on the steps of the Colorado state capitol

I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well

New Years Day Morning in Denver Size:11"x14" The outside of the DenverFor the first morning of 2014 I headed out to photograph the skyline of Denver as I have done the past couple of years. This morning there was a system which was moving through which prevented a colorful sunrise as we have had the past couple of years. It was still nice to get out and watch the first morning of the year start with Denver as a backdrop. As I left the location some snowflake were present as well.
